On May 2022, Candice Houtekier, the Founder of Art Collision, had the opportunity to collaborate with Open Austria, a joint initiative of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of Austria and the Austrian Chamber of Commerce.

Open Austria aims to connect Austria and Silicon Valley in various fields such as business, science, technology, and the arts. As the official Austrian Consulate and tech & innovation hub in Silicon Valley, Open Austria plays a vital role in fostering collaboration and innovation between the two regions.

In May 2022, Candice participated in a panel discussion with the Belvedere Museum about art & culture in the metaverse. The discussion took place on Engage, a metaverse platform that enables professionals, event organizers, and corporations to build their own virtual worlds and offer metaverse services to their clients.

During the discussion, Candice shared the journey of Art Collision and highlighted a selection of clients who were early adopters of virtual reality and metaverse art exhibitions. It was a great opportunity for Candice to share her insights and experiences with a wider audience and to explore the potential of the metaverse in the world of art and culture.
